Temperature and Humidity in One Device
The ZHT series measures both ambient temperature and relative humidity from a single compact sensor. With a temperature range of -40°C to +85°C and a humidity range of 0-100% RH, the ZHT handles everything from cold storage environments to tropical climates. High-accuracy readings are delivered at configurable intervals, providing the continuous data needed for environmental compliance, HVAC optimisation, and asset protection.
ZigBee Mesh Networking
Every ZHT unit joins the EpiSensor ZigBee mesh network, transmitting sensor data wirelessly to the gateway. The self-healing mesh topology automatically reroutes data if a node goes offline, ensuring reliable delivery even in challenging RF environments. No data cables need to be run between sensors and the gateway, reducing installation costs and simplifying deployment across large or distributed sites.
Battery or Externally Powered
The ZHT series supports both battery and external power options, giving you maximum flexibility for deployment. Battery-powered operation enables placement in locations without mains power, such as cold rooms, storage areas, or remote sections of a building. When mains power is available, an external supply keeps the sensor running continuously while also allowing it to act as a ZigBee router, extending mesh coverage for neighbouring devices.
DIN-Rail Mountable
The ZHT snaps directly onto standard 35mm DIN rails, making it easy to install alongside existing electrical equipment in distribution boards and control panels. The compact form factor minimises the space required, while the clip-on mounting allows quick installation and repositioning without tools. For applications outside the panel, optional wall-mount brackets are also available.
Flexible Data Intervals and Local Storage
Configure reporting intervals to match your application requirements, from frequent updates for critical cold-chain monitoring to longer intervals for general environmental oversight. The ZHT stores data locally during any network interruption, automatically backfilling to the gateway when connectivity is restored to ensure no data is lost. Threshold-based alerts can be configured to trigger immediate reports when temperature or humidity moves outside defined limits.
